The Derby Public Schools Board of Education is seeking individuals interested in filling an appointed position on the Derby Recreation Commission (DRC) Board.

At the March 22 Board meeting Heather Bohaty, Superintendent of Schools, shared information regarding the process for this appointment.

Derby Board of Education holds the responsibility of appointing two of its electors to serve as members of the Derby Recreation Commission. Rick Ruff is currently one of these appointees and this process will serve to replace a position opening by the district’s second appointee who will not be continuing on the DRC board.
