| Welcome! The USD 260 Latchkey program provides licensed child care before and after school during the school year and full day care during the summer. Latchkey is available to any family in need of service without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin. We, however, reserve the right to meet with parents, receive full disclosure of needs, and develop an action plan to assure provision of adequate services. Within these limits the program is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment will be confirmed when ALL paperwork is completed. The weekly cost per child is $45 if parents use both before and after-school childcare. Before school care is $20 per child and after school care is $30 per child. The weekly fee is prorated ONLY when Latchkey is not in session for a full week. Hours for Latchkey are 6:00 am until school begins and until 6:00 pm after school. Summer hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Latchkey will be closed when the schools are closed for inclement weather. Regular payment is expected. Latchkey reserves the right to terminate care without additional notice on any accounts that are two weeks in arrears. Students will be transported by a USD 260 school bus between their attendance center and the Latchkey site. Transportation cost is covered in the Latchkey Fees. NOTE: Latchkey does not offer drop-in service. The program is for families who need consistent weekly care. Due to the high demand during the school year, parents are asked to pay the weekly rate in order to hold a spot even if a child is absent for an entire week. When a child is withdrawn from the program there is a two-week waiting period to reenter. However, reentry is not guaranteed after two weeks if there is a waiting list. All spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. HALF DAY LATCHKEY will be provided on Thursday, May 23rd. The cost is $10 per child; cards and money must be turned in by Friday, May 17th. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Be ready for a picnic! |

 Come join the fun with Summer Latchkey REASONS FOR ATTENDING SUMMER LATCHKEY: Care available 6 AM to 6 PM Well supervised groups. (1 adult to every 10 or fewer children) All supervisors are over 18 years of age. Fieldtrips everyday of the week. $100.00 weekly charge includes all fieldtrips & activities. Academic Enrichment (Planned by certified teaching staff.) Lots of FUN, FUN, FUN! Enrollment begins April 1st.
