![]() Derby's Wee Panther Pals is a parent/child school-readiness program for children ages 3 through kindergarten entry. Parents attend with their children and act as their own child's teacher during center-based learning times. Parents are also provided with activities to do with their child at home to enhance their skills for success in school. There are five sections of classes that meet once per week for two hours. For more information, please call Bonnie Glaser or Deborah Whitfield at Wee Panther Pals take a field trip to ride ponies and see other farm animals. Wee Panther Pals take several field trips each year. This year so far, they also went to a pumpkin patch, had the firemen visit their classroom and still have trips to Exploration Place, Dillons Market Square, Great Plains Nature Center and will sing Christmas carols at assisted living facilities. |
