Derby Public Schools is one of 447 school districts in the U.S. and Canada and one of five in Kansas being honored by the College Board with placement on the 8th Annual AP District Honor Roll. To be included on the 8th Annual Honor Roll, Derby Public Schools had to, since 2015, increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

Over the next couple of years, there will be a variety of ways offered to be involved in the planning process. We are currently looking for interested parents/guardians to serve on advisory committees for new construction and design at Cooper Elementary, Oaklawn Elementary and the new elementary in Stone Creek.
